Overview:
You will be a specialist member of the team working on cutting edge Casino Games projects, reporting directly to the Design Lead. This role allows for excellent career progression within the Games Design Team. You will work collaboratively with Designers and Senior Designers on a daily basis. Externally you will be required to work with Developers from various environments to ensure game quality right through to the end of the Games Development Process.
This role has room for rapid advancement with a premise that the ideal candidate would be prepared for a challenge. Training and mentoring via Senior members of the team will be provided in certain areas of the role, to support and nurture your skills.
You will be responsible for the following:
-Conception of iGaming ideas, refined and mocked up to a commercial standard to pitch to the creative group.
-The premise to be fully versed in how Casino Games work with idea to be an authority on this.
-Working on a plethora of genres such as Slots, Table and Casino Games within Flash and Mobile environments
-Use 3D and post production packages as well as vector based design programs, to create optimised highest quality assets.
-Refining and honing existing workflows and introducing new ones within the Design Team.
-Reinforce the market leading position with the production of the highest quality Casino Games.
Requirements:
-Team player - ability to have an open mind and prepared to be challenged.
-Some experience in using 3D packages.
-Some experience of using Flash for animation and asset creation.
-Ability to take full ownership of work coupled with the tenacity to see the game through to completion and deployment to a high standard.
-Conceptualise and communicate strong ideas to the business - excellent communicator.
-Solid design and layout skills, basic experience of intuitive UI development.
-Ability to problem solve workflow and technical issues surrounding assets within the games.
Preferred Software Packages:
-Softimage (other 3D software considered)
-Flash
-Photoshop
Bonus Skills:
-Mid-weight Actionscript 3.0/Flex Skills
-Experience with Mudbox, ZBrush
-Experience with 3D Studio Max
-Experience with Adobe CS Suite as a whole
-Experience with Flash Catalyst |
