| Job Description |
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparation and conduction of the Social Media strategy for a multilingual website.
The Head of SM will be part of the Online Marketing team, reporting to the Head of Online Marketing. The role will work closely with the Affiliate and Search Engine Marketing teams in order to maximize the department’s results, identifying cross border synergies for optimal media and marketing investments.
Your main responsibilities will be
-Plan, develop and implement the Social Media strategy, coordinating with stakeholders across the company to ensure its effectiveness and ensure the adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture and into all of the company’s services
- Own the roadmap budget for the social media tools in use, directing social media tool integration
- Coordinate the planning of social media campaigns, ensuring the alignment with the overall marketing strategy
- Liaise with stakeholders across the company in order to ensure the delivery of cross departmental projects
- Build appropriate reporting frameworks to evaluate ROMI on different channels
- Report the results of the Social Media department against the targets set
- Continuously monitor the trends in the industry, be aware of market changes and developments and adapt the strategy accordingly
- Recruit and oversee the Social Media Team, ensuring the performance quality at all times
Additional Info:
- Reports to Head of Online Marketing
- Manage a team of up to 10 people
- Traveling, mostly to Malta and Stockholm
Experience
- In depth online marketing experience from customer focused high transaction volume online company or similar.
- Experience in developing and implementing Social Media strategies.
- Experience working in an international environment. Experience managing and motivating staff.
- Excellent organisational and analytical skills |
