Bookmakers Boylesports have created a new online division separate to their existing retail operations.
The move, designed to help the company “establish a foothold in new territories”, sees Ireland’s largest independent bookmakers appoint head of online Keith O’Loughlin to the newly-created role of CEO of Boylesports Online.
O’Loughlin will have responsibility for the development of Boylesports.com, sub-brands such as Boylepoker.com and Boylecasino.com, and related betting and gaming websites across mobile and online channels internationally.
A Boylesports statement confirmed the restructure represented a “significant investment” in digital channels, with Asia mentioned as one specific area of focus.
John Boyle will remain as CEO of the overall Boylesports business.
O’Loughlin said: “While the business is changing internally, Boylesports Online will be focused on offering the very best customer service, high-end products and integrity that our customers have come to expect.”
