Oddschecker to offer in-play comparisons
Odds comparison website Oddschecker are to launch a new in-play service, to be powered by Push Technology.
The BSkyB-owned site are to use Push’s Diffusion enterprise messaging and internet communications technology to offer live in-play odds comparison, allowing users to compare the latest in-play prices across a variety of online bookmakers.
The service will be offered in addition to Oddschecker’s current odds comparison product, which compares over half a million markets every month.
Oddschecker general manager Derren Maggs said of his company’s new offering: “Our live in-play service is all about fast, reliable and efficient online data distribution, and we’re convinced that Push Technology sets the performance standard in this critical area. Diffusion helps us to achieve the industry’s lowest latency levels, especially when a bookmaker is also using Push Technology to deliver its prices.”
