Provider Bally Technologies has re-appointed Richard “Dick” Haddrill as CEO.

Richard Haddrill returns to Bally CEO role

The Bally board member will assume the role on 23 May, replacing Ramesh Srinivasan who leaves his positions as president, CEO and board member.

Haddrill was previously company CEO from 2004 to 2012 and has served on the firm’s board since 2003.

He has also been chairman of the board since 2012, a role which will now be handed to David Robbins, who returns to the position he held between 1997 and 2010.

“I believe that the opportunities we have ahead of us in the coming months are truly exceptional,” said Haddrill. “I am very excited to return to the leadership of Bally and to begin focusing on our many worldwide growth strategies.”

Robbins added: “We are confident that Dick, together with our executive management team, will ensure a seamless transition and execute our strategy of continuing to grow Bally into the leading provider of technology-based products and services to the global gaming industry.”

“The board would like to thank Ramesh for his many years of service to Bally and for his leadership in guiding the company through the acquisition and integration of SHFL Entertainment, as well as his exemplary execution in developing Bally’s systems business.”

Bally has also appointed Michael A. Klayko as a Class II member of its board of directors, effective as of 1 July.

From 2005 to 2013 Klayko served as CEO of Brocade Communications Systems, a California-based developer and manufacturer of networking products and solutions.
