BetVictor reveals new CEO

The Gibraltar-based company had been searching for a successor to previous CEO Michael Carlton and company founder Victor Chandler, who both left the firm in May following a restructuring of the holding company which saw Michael Tabor assume full ownership of the business.

Meinrad previously spent six years with operator BwinParty in a range of positions, including his most recent role as CCO.

He will begin his new position in February 2015 and spoke of his delight at being appointed.

“It is a great brand with a very good reputation among its users and with a fantastic opportunity for growth in the future given the investment and strategic vision of the owner,” he said.

Tabor said: “Since acquiring BetVictor in May, we have been looking for a world class executive to lead the business. Andreas is an outstanding operator with a proven track record of success who will bring a wealth of global brand experience to BetVictor.”

Meinrad has also previously worked for Nike, Red Bull and Value Retail.
