Intralot is Ireland’s new lottery supplier

Premier Lotteries Ireland (PLI) is the new official operator of the National Lottery after agreeing a 20-year partnership, following a bid of €405m, and has selected Intralot Ireland, a subsidiary of supplier the Intralot Group, to be its technology partner.

The Lottery’s points of sales were connected to the new central system when the transition was completed on Sunday 30 November, while Intralot plans to facilitate the growth of lottery ticket sales in Ireland through its Photon terminals.

A new interactive portal has also been launched at lottery.ie.

Antonios Kerastaris, Intralot CEO, said: “We are very satisfied with the smooth transition of the National Lottery to our system.

“Our cooperation with PLI and Camelot Global has been exemplary and together we have set a solid basis for the long-term operation of the project.

“We are confident that the new Lottery will provide to the Irish players new gaming experiences in a responsible way while increasing revenues for good causes.”
