NetEnt granted a transactional waiver for New Jersey

Provider NetEnt has been granted a transactional waiver by the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to launch its digital gaming products in the state via operators Borgata and BwinParty.

NetEnt Americas LLC will go live with its game content while NetEnt’s licence application is still under review and an official launch date will be announced at a later stage.

Borgata’s online licence covers its own online gaming sites, BorgataCasino.com and BorgataPoker.com, while BwinParty uses Borgata’s online licence to operate its NJPartyPoker.com site in the state.

NetEnt Americas LLC managing director Bjorn Krantz said: “The approval of the transactional waiver for Borgata and BwinParty in New Jersey marks yet another milestone in our efforts to successfully go to market and build a long-term presence in North America.”

BwinParty launched NetEnt’s online casino games in April and it was announced in June that NetEnt had signed its first US customer agreement for the delivery of online casino games to BwinParty and Borgata’s brands in New Jersey.

It was announced in the same month that NetEnt has entered into a content distribution agreement with operator Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE), which will initially be offered to CIE’s online brand in New Jersey.
