Suncity Group to consult Golden Sun Sky

This “strategic partnership agreement” will involve a Suncity subsidiary, Suncity Group Management and Consultancy, providing consultancy services to the operator for a new $360m integrated resort being built in Sihanoukville in Cambodia.

In a statement, Suncity said it believes “that the entering into of the Strategic Partnership Agreement will expand its footprint in Cambodia, in addition to the integrated resort projects in Vietnam.”

The integrated resort is set to be completed and in operation towards the end of 2019 and is expected to have a casino, duty-free shopping, hotel facilities and sports betting facilities.

It will also have a total gross floor area of 650,000 square meters covering an area of 23.7 hectares and will reach a height of 130.35m, with 33 stories above ground and one below ground level.

This partnership will add to the list of Suncity’s recent activities, which include the acquisition of a 34% stake in an integrated resort in Vietnam.
