Global Gaming appoints first Operational CFO
Global Gaming has appointed Michael Gatt to the newly created role of Operational Chief Financial Officer for its subsidiaries in Malta, as the company looks to strengthen its financial organisation.
The supplier is based in Malmo, Sweden. However, it also has headquarters in Malta and Tallinn, Esonia.
Micahel Gatt will be leaving behind his previous role at Global Gaming to take up the mantle of Operational Chief Financial Officer, having served as a Finance Manager since September 2017.
The new role will see Gatt shift his focus towards “governance, investor relations and working more actively in M&A-related matters.”
Gatt has also held previous roles in the gaming industry, including stints at both Betsafe and Betsson.
As a result of the newly-created role, Global Gaming CFO Christoffer Tell will be handing over some of his own responsibilities to Gatt.
Michael Gatt said: “I am proud but also pleased by this vote of confidence and the new responsibilities that come with the new role. I am looking forward to being part of this talented management team.”
Tell added: “This new division of responsibilities will allow me to make more effective use of resources and focus on developing the company. This in turn means we’ll be more agile and responsive when the right opportunities arise.”
