Casinos in Bahamas set for July reopening
The Royal and Harbourside Resort, a venue on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, will be opening its doors on 7 July. Another casino, the Cove, will be following suit on 14 July. Both properties are managed by Atlantis at Paradise Island Resort and Casino.
The re-opening will have several phases, as the company partnered with Cleveland Clinic to create the Atlantis Clean & Safe Promise program.
Atlantis aims to ensure the health and safety of the guests and employees with additional cleaning and sanitation policies. The group is preparing for additional measures, despite there being zero cases in the Bahamas since the start of the pandemic.
Atlantis is offering various travel packages available for booking starting from 7 July. President and managing director of Atlantis Paradise Island, Audrey Oswell, said: “The Atlantis Clean & Safe Promise is our commitment to working with global health experts to provide a safe and healthy environment for everyone who enters our doors. We can’t wait for guests to join us again for the unforgettable Bahamian experience that sets Atlantis apart as the most remarkable destination resort in the world.”
The re-opened property will welcome guests with the implemented social distancing. Atlantis is planning to re-open most of its amenities, including the Atlantis Casino, indoor and outdoor dining venues, pools, spa and fitness centers, venue halls, as well as a variety of other properties.
