Intralot extends New Zealand EMS deal until 2025
Intralot has announced an extension to its deal with the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) in New Zealand for the provision of Electronic Monitoring Systems (EMS).
Through the deal, Intralot’s New Zealand subsidiary, Intralot NZ Ltd., will continue to offer reporting, accounting, auditing and management services for New Zealand’s class 4 gaming properties until 2025.
EMS was first introduced in New Zealand in March 2007 to track and monitor gaming machine operations in the nation’s pubs and clubs.
Commenting on the extension, Chris Dimitriadis, Intralot group CEO, said: “We would like to thank DIA for its continued confidence and trust more than a decade.
“The extension of our partnership is an endorsement of our successful cooperation in implementing a high-quality operating service performance out of EMS.
“Our world-class solution, designed according to Gaming Association standards, serves the most demanding regulatory environments and we are committed to continue supporting DIA on establishing a responsible gaming environment for the local player community.”
In 2010, Intralot signed an extension to its existing DIA deal, which included the integration of a gambling platform with the aim of improving the integrity of the gaming sector.
