NetEnt partners Scientific Games for US Expansion
NetEnt has signed a new agreement with Scientific Games which will see the online casino supplier launch its content on Scientific Games’ OpenGaming platform in US markets.
As part of the deal, a number of NetEnt’s releases have been integrated onto the OpenGaming platform and are now available to partners in New Jersey. The supplier is also planning to launch in Michigan and Pennsylvania.
“Expanding our presence in the US market is of high importance to NetEnt,” commented Brian Kraft, VP commercial, NetEnt Americas LLC.
“Collaborating with Scientific Games leveraging the power of their OpenGaming platform made strategic sense for us, given the company’s strong reputation and partnerships with multiple US operators.
“We’re excited about working with Scientific Games in the US and look forward to launching our popular slots with more operators in the coming months.”
NetEnt is able to launch its games in New Jersey through a partnership with Tipico, signed in July this year.
Therese Hillman, NetEnt CEO, praised the company’s “transformational steps” after NetEnt posted a revenue increase of 37% year-on-year for Q2 2020, to SEK 573m ($64m).
Hillman outlined US growth as one reason for the supplier’s continued profit.
