Novomatic seals African partnership with Rank Entertainment Holdings
Global gaming supplier Novomatic has signed a new agreement with Rank Entertainment Holdings Group in Africa.
Rank Holdings, which runs casinos in Sri Lanka and Africa, launched the Casino Marina Blantyre in Malawi on 22 October. Novomatic subsidiary, Novomatic Africa, has provided a number of products for the casino floor.
Rank Holdings has integrated Novomatic cabinets, HD screens and LED floor lighting in its new Casino Marina Blantyre. The deal also includes Novomatic’s selection of games, including Book of Ra, Plenty of Fruit and Lucky Lady’s Charm.
The Casino Marina Blantyre is the second Rank Holdings casino in Malawi. So far, the operator has casinos in six cities of East Africa, including Maputo, Beira, Lusaka, Harare, Lilongwe and Blantyre.
Commenting on the new agreement, Terrence Mushwana, sales and technical executive for Novomatic Africa said: “Guests of the Casino Marina Blantyre will love the great offer that comprises all the top titles – some even with an added 6th reel and ExtraBet game features.”
Meanwhile, Tom Alcorn, general manager of the Casino Marina Lilongwe and Casino Marina Blantyre expressed his excitement at the partnership.
He added: “We are confident that this latest installation in the Novostar II cabinet will thrill our customers – who are very familiar with the Novomatic classic games – with a now exquisitely repacked offer in refined high definition graphics and an invigorating cabinet design.”
