Las Vegas’ Circa Resort & Casino opens new conventions facility

As conventions continue to recover from Covid-19, Circa seems keen to capitalise on their comeback.

Its new facility features a ballroom, breakout and banquet rooms, as well as adjacent pre-function space and a 1,600-square-foot outdoor terrace. More importantly, it marks Circa’s second phase of development.

According to CEO Derek Stevens, Circa had always planned to open a conventions space, which is scheduled to host its first events next month.

“As the meetings and events industries continue to ramp up after the pandemic, we are thrilled to introduce our incredible facilities to downtown Las Vegas,” Stevens said.

“It has always been our intention to add this to Circa’s repertoire, and we look forward to kicking off our first series of events in September.”

Designed by JCJ Architecture, Circa’s new facility offers meeting planners customisable rooms for up to 1,000 guests.

Furthermore, the facility has been furnished to complement Circa’s “mid-century, art deco and modern design motifs.”

The new space also features a sizeable freight elevator, allowing large vehicles and displays to be transported directly to the third floor. A full kitchen is also dedicated to Circa’s convention area.

Sasha Lee, Circa’s Director of Sales, commented: “When creating these spaces, we kept meeting planners in mind with details such as flexible room sizes, in-house IT to maintain lower costs and a large elevator for easy load out.

“We are so pleased with how the area turned out and proud to introduce Las Vegas’ newest convention area.”
