Two new members appointed to Canterbury Park Board of Directors

Canterbury Park has appointed Peter Ahn and Damon Schramm to its Board of Directors.

Two new members appointed to Canterbury Park Board of Directors

The appointment of Ahn and Schramm, effective 5 October 2022, increases the size of the board to seven members, six of whom are considered independent directors under NASDAQ rules.

Ahn will serve on the board’s Audit Committee, with Schramm to serve on the board’s Compensation Committee.

Ahn currently serves as CFO of Hemisphere Companies, bringing his many years of governance experience to Canterbury Park, having served on the boards of directors for each of Hemisphere’s companies.

Holding a BA in Economics from Macalester College and an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of Minnesota, Ahn also served on the boards at Macalester College, the Blake School and the Lake Country School.

Schramm currently serves as Vice President of Legal for Togetherwork, previously holding a position as General Counsel for KASA Holdings.

He has also served as an adjunct professor and lecturer in business law, and holds a BA from the University of Minnesota – Duluth and a JD from William Mitchell College of Law. Schramm is currently working towards a Masters of Law in Securities and Financial Regulation from Georgetown University Law Centre.
