Now live in 14 US states, Jackpocket noted that digital lottery courier orders have increased in all states where the app is available since Q2 2022, with newer states like New Mexico and Montana reporting major quarterly growth of over 185% and 955% respectively.

The group highlighted that total winnings for Jackpocket users in all states grew 41% from Q2 to Q3, adding that the number of women using Jackpocket has increased slightly quarter-on-quarter, from 41.4% in Q2 to 42.3% in Q3. The number of men, meanwhile, has decreased slightly from 58.6% to 57.7%.

New York had the highest amount spent on ticket orders each month, with Idaho reporting the lowest. Again, New York topped the winning lottery tickets by state with $3m, followed by Colorado and New Jersey with $1.3m and $1m respectively.

Jackpocket added that the top three states by lottery revenue in Q3 have remained consistent since Q2; New York, Texas and New Jersey.

Ohio is currently seeing the greatest year-on-year growth in ticket orders (133%), with Montana seeing the greatest quarter-on-quarter growth in ticket orders (955%).

“With each new quarter, we continue to see remarkable growth and more opportunity in the digital lottery courier space,” said Jackpocket Founder and CEO Peter Sullivan.

“Most exciting is that the total winnings for our users jumped quarter over quarter from $25m to $35m. With an increase in both users and winners, we’re proud to offer a convenient, easy way for lottery lovers to participate in their favourite games while also appealing to a new generation.”
