NFTreasure debuted by BetU
BetU has debuted NFTreasure, a new slot exclusive to players at the online casino and sportsbook.
The group noted that the slot challenges players to spin reels that include some of crypto’s most iconic NFTs.
Built alongside development studio Zillion Games, NFTreasure brings various NFT collections to online slots for the first time, including Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), Crypto Punks, Neo Tokyo, Doodles, MoonBirds, VeeFriends and Azuki.
BetU added that individual NFTs owned by well-known figures throughout the cryptocurrency space also feature on the reels, including Neo Tokyo founder Alex Becker and Planet XOLO founder JRNY Crypto.
The 5×3 game also has a bonus game mode triggered by the BETU symbol.
BetU CEO Paul Rogash commented: “We’ve been looking at ways to create a truly innovative slots experience, and NFTreasure achieves just that by incorporating some of the world’s most beloved NFTs into the game itself.
“This is the first time many of these digital assets have featured on the reels of a slot game, and the early signs from players at BetU.io are that this is a true game-changer.”
Last month, the sports betting and casino platform launched with the promise of bringing a ‘truly VIP experience’ to players, explaining that it differs from other crypto-focused casino brands by providing additional benefits to players who hold the native $BETU token.
Earlier this month, crypto betting brand Cloudbet released statistics on its World Cup performance, reporting that sign-ups, deposits and wagers had more than doubled during the tournament.
Cloudbet suggested this was a positive given the recent fiasco involving the collapse of a high-profile crypto FTX exchange. Argentina to win the 2022 World Cup was Cloudbet’s most popular bet, with that bet coming up as the South Americans won the final against France on Sunday.
