Jeju Dream Tower recorded KRW43.4bn ($32.5m) in casino revenue for July 2025, representing a 90.1% year-on-year increase. According to provisional figures released by the operator on 1 August, revenue also rose 21.3% from June’s KRW35.8bn.

The July performance was primarily driven by table games, which generated KRW41.6bn, up 21% month-on-month and 99.1% from the prior year period. Machine game revenue totalled KRW1.87bn, a 30% month-on-month increase, but 5.2% lower than the figure recorded in July 2024.

Visitor numbers reached 56,691 in July  –  the highest monthly total since the resort’s opening  –  reflecting a 10% increase from June and a 65.4% rise.

Good to know: Jeju Dream Tower holds one of Jeju Island’s seven casino licences and operates under foreigner-only gaming regulations. Its current gaming floor includes 141 table games and nearly 260 electronic and slot machines 

The resort’s hotel segment generated KRW7.88bn in revenue in July, marking a 15.4% increase from June but remaining 14.8% below July 2024’s total of KRW9.24bn.

Across the first seven months of 2025, cumulative casino revenue reached KRW238bn, a 49.3% increase. Table games accounted for KRW226.2bn, up 51.4%, while machine games contributed KRW11.78bn, up 18.4%. In contrast, cumulative hotel revenue declined by 10.7% to KRW43.8bn.

The casino, which began operations in 2021 following the transfer of Lotte Hotel Jeju’s licence, is one of three currently active on Jeju Island. 

It serves as the core asset of Lotte Tour Development and remains reliant on foreign and expatriate visitors under current national gaming regulations.
