Mark Tricano

Tricano is the SVP of operations at Station Casino. Formally, Tricano was an executive and the President of Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which opened on The Strip in December 2023. Tricano has worked with Station Casinos previously, having worked at the Red Rock Hotel Casino from 2012 to 2015.

Employment

Tricano has 20 years of gaming and hospitality experience, holding previous executive positions at Caesars Entertainment, Galaxy Entertainment Group, Station Casinos and Jack Entertainment.

His previous role was at Fontainebleau, where he held the role of President before moving into an executive role. His most significant contribution to the company was his presence at the casino when it opened its doors to the public, something highly anticipated since the casino’s construction began in 2007. 

Prior to Fontainebleau, Tricano held the position as SVP of Gaming Development and Optimisation Services, Labour Planning and Hotel Revenue Management at Galaxy Entertainment. There, his team was composed of more than 13,000 employees. His role required revenue management of 4,000 hotel rooms, and he oversaw labour strategy and operations for $7.5bn in gross gaming revenue.

Tricano was with Galaxy Entertainment from September 2019 to December 2022. By market share, Galaxy, based in Hong Kong, is one of the largest operators in Macau.

From December 2015 to July 2019, Tricano served as SVP of Operations – Northeast Ohio for Jack Entertainment, an Ohio gaming company that is home to Jack Cleveland Casino, Jack Thistledown Racino, and BetJack.

Tricano also served as a general manager for Station Casinos from March 2012 to November 2015 and held several executive positions with Caesars (then Harrah’s), including VP and Assistant GM, for more than six years. He began his professional career as a senior analyst for the European consulting firm BearingPoint in July 2002 after serving a little more than two years as a lieutenant in the US Army.

Products Launched

In his previous role, Tricano was a part of the team that opened Fontainebleau Las Vegas, which had been in development for over a decade. Fontainebleau Las Vegas features 3,700 hotel rooms and more than 550,000 square feet of convention space. The integrated resort is located at the north end of the Strip.

Fontainebleau Las Vegas recently announced it will partner with the software company Infor to provide both front and back-of-the-house hospitality solutions at the resort. Fontainebleau Las Vegas will use cloud-based applications specifically built for the hospitality industry to share real-time data and streamline hotel operations.
