Und nun k\u00f6nnte eben dieses Etablissement zusammen mit einigen anderen prestigetr\u00e4chtigen Casinos verkauft<\/a> werden. Laut einem Bericht der Financial Times vom 26. Februar 2026 pr\u00fcft Caesars Entertainment – Betreiber von Caesars Palace, Harrah’s, Horseshoe und \u00fcber 50 weiteren Casinos in Nordamerika – aktiv \u00dcbernahmegebote mehrerer Interessenten. Der Aktienkurs schoss daraufhin um rund 19 Prozent nach oben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fertitta als Hauptkandidat – mit Komplikationen<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Der meistgenannte Name ist Tilman Fertitta, texanischer Milliard\u00e4r und Betreiber der Golden Nugget-Casinokette. Fertitta h\u00e4lt zudem einen Anteil von rund 12,3 Prozent an Wynn Resorts und ist Eigent\u00fcmer der Houston Rockets. Sein Unternehmen Fertitta Entertainment gilt als einer der ernsthaftesten Interessenten. Allerdings gibt es einen Haken: Seit Dezember 2024 ist Fertitta US-Botschafter in Italien und San Marino – und darf damit keine aktive operative Rolle in seinem Unternehmen \u00fcbernehmen. Die \u00dcbernahmeverhandlungen m\u00fcsste Nicki Keenan, der aktuelle Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrer von Fertitta Entertainment, f\u00fchren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Neben Fertitta soll auch ein sogenanntes Management-Buyout im Gespr\u00e4ch sein – sprich: das bestehende F\u00fchrungsteam von Caesars k\u00f6nnte versuchen, den Konzern selbst zu \u00fcbernehmen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Schuldenberg macht den Deal kompliziert<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Warum steht Caesars \u00fcberhaupt zur Disposition? Der Konzern k\u00e4mpft seit Jahren mit einer erdr\u00fcckenden Schuldenlast von \u00fcber 20 Milliarden Dollar, inklusive Leasing-Verpflichtungen gegen\u00fcber dem Immobilientrust Vici Properties – dessen Marktwert inzwischen sogar h\u00f6her ist als jener von Caesars selbst. Der Aktienkurs war zuletzt auf ein F\u00fcnfjahrestief gefallen und liegt mehr als 80 Prozent unter dem Pandemie-Hoch. Gleichzeitig meldete das Unternehmen im digitalen Segment zuletzt Rekordums\u00e4tze von 1,41 Milliarden Dollar f\u00fcr 2025, ein Anstieg von 21 Prozent gegen\u00fcber dem Vorjahr.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00fcr einen potenziellen K\u00e4ufer w\u00fcrde der Erwerb wegen der Schulden ein Gesamtvolumen von \u00fcber 30 Milliarden Dollar bedeuten – vergleichbar mit dem Apollo-\/TPG-Deal von 2008, der 2015 in der Insolvenz endete.
