MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Playtech’s in-house learning platform, Playtech Academy, provides technology, online training and software to charity and non-profit organisations in a collective effort to work on safer gambling research, education and mental health issues. 

Wanting to focus on enabling remote learning for students, the group is donating licenses for educational software to non-profit organisations, educational institutes and teachers. 

In February 2023, Playtech’s exclusive partnership with Paddy Power was extended, which means Playtech remained the exclusive provider of Self Service Betting Terminals for Paddy Power both in the UK and Ireland. 

In December 2022, Playtech announced a four-year collaboration project with the Erasmus University Rotterdam and the University of Amsterdam. The project names ‘A Safe Bet: design and evaluation of a player-tailored responsible gambling promotion framework’ aims to develop and evaluate new tools for online responsible gambling. 

In November 2022, after a deal with the BetVictor Group, Playtech Casino and Live Casino became available across all the brands operated and licensed by the BetVictor Group throughout the UK. 

In July 2022, Playtech signed a multi-state agreement in the US, with 888 Holdings and started providing its Live Casino and random number generator (RNG) games to 888casino in New Jersey. 

In 2020, Playtech Ukraine acquired and donated vital medical equipment (such as one breathing machine, two aspirators, three volumetric infusion pumps, two pulse oximeters and one ECG machine) to Kyiv’s Regional Children’s Hospital. 

AWARDS

Mor Weizer was one of the judges at the Global Gaming Awards London 2022. 

In 2016, Playtech was awarded the ‘Best Digital Industry Supplier’ at the Global Gaming Awards. 

EMPLOYMENT

When he began working at Playtech, Weizer served as CEO of the group’s subsidiary, Techplay Marketing, where he was responsible for overseeing licensee relationship management, as well as product management and group marketing. 

Before starting his career at Playtech, he served as a Consultant for Oracle, between 2000 and 2005. 

Prior to that, he worked as an Accountant and Financial Consultant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
