MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
In January 2023, PAGCOR turned over a total of P256.38m ($4.6m) in remittances to the Philippine Sports Commission, which Tengco personally handed to the Chairman.
In December 2022, PAGCOR inaugurated a Multi-Purpose Evacuation Center in Cabuyao City, Laguna and a Village in Agoncillo, which can accommodate 100 families.
Under his leadership, PAGCOR reported a record-breaking total income of P58.96 billion ($1bn) for 2022, showing a 66% increase compared to the previous year. The largest part of that increase came from gaming operations. That significant increase in revenue allowed PAGCOR’s contribution to nation-building to rise by 51%.

Tengco was voted Executive of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards Asia-Pacific 2024.
EMPLOYMENT
Tengco owns the building contractor Nationstar Development Corporation and has been serving as its CEO and President between 2015 and 2022.
Between 2011 and 2016, he served as World Hub Services Corporation’s Managing Director.
During his career, he held several leading roles including COO of JBROS Construction between 2007 and 2014, Managing Director of Multi Kitchen since 2003, Director and Corporate Secretary of Malolos Food Corporation since 2000 and Executive Assistant to the Chairman of Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company between 1992 and 2004.
Between 1988 and 1992, he also served as Vice Mayor of Malolos, the capital of the Bulacan province.
PRODUCTS LAUNCHED
In July 2024, POGOs were banned in the Philippines, a significant development that acted against Tengco and PAGCOR.
