Bryant has served on several boards, and held various management and leadership titles throughout his more than 30-year career.
He retired from Kellogg Company in 2018 as its CEO and Executive Chairman, after 20 years with the organisation. Bryant first joined Kellogg in 1998.
Former Flutter Chair Gary McGann briefly discussed Bryant’s industry experience by saying: “John has had a stellar career in Kellogg Company, one of the most internationally renowned companies in the world.
“He brings with him an enormous wealth of leadership experience in strategic, financial and operational matters.”
During his time with Kellogg Company, Bryant served as the group’s Executive Chairman, CEO, CFO and COO.
Prior to his appointment with Flutter, he worked at Ball Corporation as its Non-Executive Director. He has also held positions with Compass Group PLC and Coca-Cola European Partners plc.
He represented Macy’s Inc. as a Non-Executive Director from 2015 to May 2023.
Flutter Entertainment currently owns and operates FanDuel, a sports betting and gaming company that offers online casino, fantasy sports, horseracing and sportsbook products. Flutter Entertainment acquired FanDuel in 2018 as part of a deal to boost its US presence after legislators overturned a federal ban on sports betting.
FanDuel is the clear market leader in US online sports betting.
Bryant's arrival at Flutter was signalled as a key move before it announced a secondary US listing for the company, as it seeks to utilise FanDuel's market strength.
