MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

Kramer’s career has seen him take on a range of high-profile leadership positions for a variety of top companies. Since 1993, Kramer has been with the Griffon Corporation – serving as a Director, before being appointed as the company’s CEO in April 2008. He was additionally appointed as the Chairman of the Board in January 2018. 

As of March 2024, Kramer has taken on further responsibilities, stepping back into the world of gaming to serve as the Independent Non-Executive Director for Entain. This move aims to “add significant value to the Board and complement [Entain’s] existing Board dynamics.” 

EMPLOYMENT

Kramer has had a long and expansive career, covering a plethora of senior positions.  

Prior to his venture into the world of business, Kramer achieved a Bachelor of Science from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in 1980 - as well as an MBA in 1981 from New York University.  

Not long after, Kramer joined the Griffon Corporation, becoming a Director of the company in 1993. His relationship with Griffon has been ongoing ever since and he has held a range of titles within the organisation. 

In April 2008 Kramer was appointed as Griffon Corporation’s CEO – a title that he still holds to this day. Additionally, he was made a Chairman of Griffon Corporation’s Board in January 2018.  

Beyond his work with Griffon, Kramer has also held a range of senior titles with other companies.  

From 1999 to 2001, Kramer served as the Managing Director of an investment banking firm called Dresdner Wasserstein - as well as holding the same titles for the company’s predecessor, Wasserstein Perella & Co. 

Kramer also had a stint as the President and Director of Wynn Resorts – roles that he held for six years from 2002 to 2008. 

Beyond this, Kramer serves on the Board of Directors for Douglas Elliman, a residential brokerage company. 

As of March 2024, it was announced that Kramer is additionally to step into the role of Independent Non-Executive Director for Entain.
