MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS

O’Neill has a wealth of experience in financial reporting, accounting and strategic financial planning. She has had a high-flying career that has seen her holding key financial roles at companies such as NetEnt and Yggdrasil Gaming.  

She joined Relax Gaming in February 2021 as Director and Group Finance Manager. In June 2024, it was announced that she had been appointed as the company’s new CFO, a role that she currently holds alongside her responsibilities as Director. 

EMPLOYMENT

O'Neill's career began in 1997 as an Accounts Clerk at the Irish Nationwide Building Society where she gained fundamental experience in accounting over the course of three years.  

She then moved to Capita Life & Pensions in October 2001 where she worked as an Accounts Assistant in Management Information. In total, she held this role for just shy of three years before moving on in June 2004.  

O'Neill’s next move saw her joining Great-West Lifeco as an Expense and Investment Accountant – a position that she held for two years from June 2004 to July 2006. 

Shortly after, O'Neill took on a new role as the EMEA Financial Accountant at Juniper Networks. Throughout the course of the four years that she spent in this role, O’Neill was responsible for managing the financial operations across the EMEA region, boosting her expertise in international finance and compliance. 

In April 2011, she transitioned to Hartley & Marks Publishers as the company’s Finance Manager in Dublin. She held this position for three and a half years.  

Next, O'Neill joined Hibernia Networks as a Financial Reporting Manager – a role that she held for just over a year from September 2014 to October 2015. 

O'Neill's career in the gaming industry then began in May 2016 when she joined NetEnt – a provider of gaming solutions – as the company’s Finance Manager. Her rapid rise within the company saw her become the Acting Group Finance Manager in June 2017.  

Off the back of this success, it was announced in September 2017 that O'Neill had joined Yggdrasil Gaming and been appointed as the Group Finance Manager and Deputy CFO. During her three and a half years at Yggdrasil, she was integral in navigating the company’s financial complexities and supporting its strategic goals.  

Her career reached new heights in February 2021 when she joined Relax Gaming as Director and Group Finance Manager. She held these positions for three and a half years before, ultimately, it was announced in June 2024 that she had been appointed to the role of CFO and Director.
