AWARDS
During the Global Gaming Awards EMEA 2025, Soft2Bet took first place in three different categories. Soft2Bet was declared the winner of the Platform Provider of the Year, while the winner of the Product Launch of the Year was Soft2Bet’s Motivational Engineering Gaming Application (Mega), a casino and sports betting solution.
Finally, Poliavich himself was announced as the Executive of the Year.
EMPLOYMENT
Poliavich would start his career in an unlikely place; drafting and negotiating M&A contracts for Ukrainian, Belarusian and Russian real estate transactions and tax matters. He would spend several years here between 2007 and 2010 as a legal intern as he gained experience in corporate structuring and assisting financial departments.
The first steps in the gambling industry would be taken with WK Group in 2010, where Poliavich would work for two years as the VP of Business Development. Here, he was tasked with overseeing the strategic development of the casino, lottery, poker, live casino games and sports betting verticals for land-based and online businesses across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Through this job, Poliavich was introduced to suppliers such as Microgaming, Videobet, Gtech, BetConstruct and Playtech.
During this time, Poliavich would begin working for Playtech as a Consultant for emerging markets. After proving himself at WK Group, Poliavich would begin curating new business opportunities for Playtech in Central Asia and Eastern Europe too. He was responsible for developing an effective senior network and healthy customer portfolio in the territories. Poliavich would hold this position from 2010 until 2016.
Concurrently alongside his tenure at Playtech, Poliavich was also the COO of IMS Limited, where he would oversee all gaming operations, including its finance, marketing, CRM and customer support.
September 2016 saw Poliavich take his first steps into entrepreneurship when he founded Soft2Bet, a B2B software development company in the iGaming industry. The business has since expanded to offer turnkey solutions, multiple brands and it’s Mega product.
Recognising the need for a universal software company, he founded Brain Rocket in October 2020 to work alongside companies outside of the industry.
“When it comes to Soft2Bet, our journey from start-up to major iGaming operator and provider shows how we have been changing the iGaming industry, that we speak the language of innovation, and that our products and success stories are undeniable proof that we excel in driving business growth.” Uri Poliavich
