MAJOR ACHIEVEMENTS
During his career, Søgaard gained vast experience in online advertising, affiliate and online marketing, as well as digital marketing, start-ups, conversion optimisation, web analytics, PPC, social media marketing, content management, landing page optimisation and SEO.
He is currently involved in several companies such as Organic Basics and Leadfamly. He also was involved in others, including Astralis, Banking Circle, RotoQL, You Lend and Sun Maker.
AWARDS
In 2022, Søgaard was shortlisted for Executive of the Year at the Global Gaming Awards. He was shortlisted for increasing the company’s commitment to responsible gambling with the launch of Better Collective’s Gamalyze self-assessment tool.
EMPLOYMENT
Søgaard was appointed CEO of Better Collective in April 2004 and is responsible for implementing existing plans and policies, improving the company's financial strength, supporting ongoing digital business transformation and setting future strategies.
He is also a Founding Partner of Dreamcraft Ventures, which launched in October 2012. The company invests in European tech-driven companies.
Since November 2014, Søgaard has also been a board member of Better Now. He was also a board member of VIGGA between August 2014 and August 2017.
PRODUCTS LAUNCHED
In April 2022, Better Collective completed the purchase of the FIFA community platform Futbin for $113m.
And, at the beginning of 2022, the group showed its support for sports fans and enthusiasts from New York by providing betting lines, sports information and statistics on its proprietary platforms including Action Network and Vegas Insider.
In 2021, Better Collective launched Gamalyze, a problem gambling detection tool across its brand sites. This tool allowed visitors to conduct a test detecting problem gambling.

In July 2020, Jesper Søgaard agreed to speak exclusively to Gambling Insider about the sports betting and affiliate markets.
