The opportunity to host the Global Gaming Awards is always one of the highlights of our year, up there with Christmas, Chinese New Year and Shirley Bassey’s birthday; we were very fortunate to recently welcome Dame Shirley to the Hippodrome for her birthday and I’ve never witnessed so many heads turn in astonishment.
It’s been a very busy year with a record tally of visitors as the West End returns to its new normal. We celebrated the 5th year of our record-breaking show Magic Mike Live and our new Chinese restaurant Chop Chop garnered an ecstatic review from Jay Rayner which sent bookings stratospheric. So reserve a table now.
We continue to work with some of the world’s pre-eminent partners in gaming, food, drink and entertainment, so to them I say a huge thank you. And we are looking forward to meeting many luminaries from the industry at the awards ceremony.
This will be the final Global Gaming Awards in the UK for a while. Good luck in Spain. It’s been a privilege to host you for the last seven years.
