The live dealer betting games supplier said the appointment will look to help facilitate its next level of growth, with Köberl taking over the reins from founder Vygerdas Jonikas, who will now focus on product innovation, in his new role as chief product officer.

Köberl joins the Lithuanian-based supplier from Playtech Sports, spending time as its commercial director, before moving to head its Trinity Bet Group subsidiary sportsbook HPYBET, a role he held from June 2017 until September 2020.

The new CEO also spent a number of years at Microsoft and brings more than 12 years of management experience.

He said: “I am grateful for the trust that has been placed in me. Vygerdas and the team have built an incredible and unique company and culture which I plan to grow to new heights in the coming years.”

BetGames.TV founder Jonikas, added: “I strongly believe that everybody should do what they are best at. For me, this means generating new product ideas and driving innovation, and I’m thrilled to have a superbly-qualified candidate in Andreas coming into the CEO role, where his experience and hunger for new challenges fits perfectly.”
