BwinParty social sports-betting app to close

ne operator BwinParty is to shut down Sportster, its social sports-betting app, five months after it was launched.

The app, which was developed by Nordeus in partnership with social gaming studio Win Interactive, which is backed by BwinParty, will leave Facebook at the end of January.

The freeplay app, which features real and virtual match betting, was officially launched at the end of September following a period of open beta testing which began in February.

Final and half-time score betting is offered, as well as three-way, double chance and handicap bets.
