RB88 has announced that former Premier League footballer Dimitar Berbatov has become its new brand ambassador, after signing a two-year deal with the Asian operator.

The former Manchester United striker, who scored 94 goals in the English top flight, has been recruited as the Asian online sportsbook and casino’s first flagship spokesman, in a role that will last until at least the end of 2022.

The seven-time Bulgarian footballer of the year and his country's record goalscorer, will represent the RB88 brand across China and Thailand, as the operator aims to add international representation to its offering with this latest signing.

Berbatov said: “It's a new challenge for me, but I plan to embrace it with my signature style and enthusiasm, helping fans to find new and deeper ways in which to enjoy and engage with the sports they love. Teaming up with RB88 was an easy decision for me.”
