According to a statement, he will “oversee the company's legal and compliance departments and will report to BetMGM's CEO, Adam Greenblatt.”
Hagopian has extensive experience in the legal field. He holds a J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business
He has worked as an attorney with Gibson Dunn, a top-tier international law firm, before becoming chief corporate counsel of MGM Resorts International and led a team responsible for legal aspects of gaming regulatory and operational matters. He also collaborated with GVC Holdings to establish BetMGM in 2018.
