The role will see Probert responsible for Scientific Games Digital’s (SG Digital) business unit’s HR function, reporting to group CEO Jordan Levin and global chief human resource officer Eileen Moore Johnson.

Probert has previously delivered successful people and culture strategies, and will focus on diversity, equity and inclusion in the new role.

She joins from global advertising agency WPP, where she was group VP talent for Xaxis, and previously spent nine years at operator Bwin, holding several senior HR positions.

Probert said: “I’m excited to be joining the digital team at Scientific Games. The company has a strong reputation within the betting and gaming industry and I’m excited to work alongside so many talented and forward-thinking individuals.”

SG Digital group CEO Levin added: “Our people continue to drive the transformation of our technology and products and their well-being has always be one of our key priorities. Laura has exceptional experience in this area and a passion for putting diversity, inclusion and people performance at the heart of business strategy.”

Earlier this month, Scientific Games saw its revenue for Q3 2020 fall 18% year-on-year to $698m.
