The online sports betting operator will become the title sponsor of the flagship Grade 1 Challow Novices’ Hurdle race and the supporting card on Tuesday 29 December at Newbury, in a two-year deal.
The extension forms part of a wider partnership with the operator and the racecourse which includes the sponsorship of two other racedays in 2021.
It will sponsor the MansionBet January Afternoon Racing on 20 January, as well as the MansionBet Spring Cup next year, which makes up part of Newbury’s flat season opener.
The operator has extended its sponsorship to more than 60 racing events in UK and Ireland during 2020, supporting British racing through the coronavirus pandemic.
Mansion CMO David Murphy said: “We are delighted to continue our support of British Racing in 2021, which includes Newbury Racecourse. We’ve taken huge strides forward with our racing product over the last year and continue to make significant improvements to deliver the best offering to our customers.”
Newbury Racecourse sponsorship manager Lara Johnston, added: “Challow Hurdle Day is one of our most popular racedays of the year and MansionBet are a perfect partner for the festive event. It is even more positive that this year we are able to welcome back a limited crowd to enjoy the live action.”
