The partnership will see the online supplier provide the Finnish state-owned operator with slot games for its retail estate in Finland, expanding on a collaboration that already sees Yggdrasil supply Veikkaus with online slot content.
The supplier’s first retail games are expected to go live in Finland across Veikkaus’ retail network in the middle of 2021, in compliance with regulatory requirements in the country. The supplier noted that an early proof of concept has already been carried out.
Yggdrasil chief of Global Market Operations Bjorn Krantz, said: “We are delighted to extend provision of gaming content to Veikkaus in their retail environment.
