Lager, who has been on the board since January 2017, decided to leave on her own volition and will step down on 31 December.
Alongside her role at Evolution, Lager is also the chairman of investment management company Navigera AB and board member of Elanders, Altor Fund Manager, Capacent Holding, Clemondo Group and Svartinge Golf, among others. Her experience in the financial sector dates back to the late 1980s.
Evolution chairman of the board Jens von Bahr said: “On behalf of the Board of Directors, I would like to thank Cecilia for her engagement and contributions during her time as board member of Evolution.”
In October, Evolution saw its Q3 2020 revenue rise 48% year-on-year, up to €140m ($172m). In November, the supplier received approval from the UK Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) to complete its proposed acquisition of NetEnt, after making a SEK 19.6bn ($2.4bn) offer to purchase it in June.
