Vietnam’s IR will open on 21 April 2021

Vingroup Group, a Vietnam-based real estate company, has announced the official opening of its Phu Quoc United Center will take place on 21 April 2021. The resort is located on Phu Quoc island, Vietnam, and reportedly cost $2.8bn.

The resort has the Corona Casino with 1,000 slot machines, close to 1,000 electronic gaming machines and approximately 100 table games. The venue was initially opened in 2019 and is the first casino that is allowed to cater to the locals. Only citizens who are over 21 and have a monthly income of at least VND10m ($445).

“This is also the only place in Vietnam where visitors can spend all night-long at the first five-star casino open to Vietnamese people,” said Vingroup. The group added the Corona Casino is comparable to famous casinos in the world.

The IR was designed to feature all-in-one entertainment, providing guests with a variety of resort and shopping services that will be available 24/7.

The IR includes a number of hotel brands, such as Vinpearl, VinOasis, VinHoliday and Radisson Blue, and will have close to 10,000 rooms in total.

VinWonders Phu Quoc, Vietnam’s largest theme park, and VinPearl Safari, a semi-wild conservation park, will also be located on the premises: “With an ecosystem of thousands of facilities and record entertainment items, Phu Quoc United Center not only satisfies the needs of enjoying – playing – resting – exploring for all visitors, but also providing unprecedented experiences in Vietnam.”
