Gilbert comes into the role with 20 years of experience she gained in the events, travel and tourism sectors. She joins Clarion after working as Reed Travel Exhibitions’ head of marketing and communications for three years.

During her time at Reed, Gilbert took charge of creating long-term marketing and channel distribution strategies, and also helped the company develop brand content.

Prior to her time at Reed, she launched an airline start-up in East Africa and developed marketing strategies for Celebrity Cruises and Whitbread PLC.

“I am delighted to have joined the dynamic, ambitious, and highly professional team at Clarion Gaming,” said Gilbert.

“Gaming is a fascinating industry, and I am looking forward to working with our customers and using the power of the Clarion owned brands to meet their business.”

Stuart Hunter, managing director of Clarion Gaming added: “I am delighted to welcome someone of Jeannette’s calibre and experience to the Clarion Gaming team. She has a track record of driving creative marketing strategies, building brands and all of the time putting the customer front and centre stage.

“I am sure she will prove to be a great asset to Clarion Gaming and by extension to our international community of stakeholders.”
