Content development firm Playson will be among the first to receive a licence in the Georgian market.

The newly regulated territory will allow Playson to boost its CIS presence and the new market entry will allow it to grow its regional customer reach.

Following rapid growth, the market was forced into considering new regulations for marketing strategies earlier this year.

The market shows promise to companies like Playson as fruit-themed games have proven to be hugely successful there.

Georgian customers will now gain access to Playson's Funky Fruits series.

Alex Ivshin, CEO at Playson, said: “We are delighted to announce our acquisition of a licence to supply games within Georgia, an exciting jurisdiction at the heart of a crucially important region.

“By continuing to build on our highly acclaimed product suite, we are confident Playson will continue to extend its commercial reach throughout the remainder of 2021 and beyond.”

Recently, Playson expanded its reach into the Latin American and European markets by making deals with Solbet and White Hat Gaming.
