Sky Bet agrees watch and bet deal with Sports Information Service

Sky Betting and Gaming has announced a watch and bet racing deal with supplier Sports Information Service (SIS).

HorseRacing

The agreement will see the supplier provide Sky Bet with racing content through SIS’s watch and bet model, which allows consumers to watch races without having to place bets prior to the event.

Through the deal, Sky Bet customers will gain access to live streams of exclusive horse and greyhound racing.

SIS’s mix of international horse racing will allow Sky Bet to expand its offering. Apart from UK and Irish greyhound racing, Sky customers can now watch content from Latin America, Mauritius, the United Arab Emirates and across Europe.

Paul Witten, commercial director at SIS, said: “We’re very excited to have agreed this deal with one of the UK’s most successful online operators, and look forward to being able to provide Sky Bet’s customers with an engaging betting experience through our premium horse and greyhound racing.

“The Watch and Bet model is becoming increasingly important in today’s marketplace for online sportsbooks looking to drive increased engagement with their customers.”

SIS has been operating within the global betting industry for over 30 years; it supplies online and retail operators with short-form betting content.

The company also provides operators with horse and greyhound solutions, such as data, live pictures, prices and derivatives.
