Birgitte Sand announced as new Mindway AI board member

Responsible gambling solution provider Mindway AI has announced Birgitte Sand (pictured) as a new board member.

CEO of Birgitte Sand & Associates, Sand previously spent time as director general at the Danish Gambling Authority, and joins Mindway AI to strengthen its “ongoing pursuit to create a sustainable and safe gambling experience.”

“We are very pleased to welcome Birgitte Sand as our new board member,” said Mindway AI CEO Rasmus Kjaergaard. “From her many years as director general at the Danish Gambling Authority and her national and international recognition, Birgitte has a level of regulatory expertise and insights that will further support our vision to improve responsible gambling and create a sustainable gambling environment.”

The group, through 24-7-365 monitoring and profiling, creates software solutions to identify problem gamblers early and accurately. Its board of directors as of its recent annual general meeting consists of Sand, Mindway AI founder and Professor Kim Mouridsen, and Better Collective CFO Flemming Pedersen.
