The deal will see the Manchester-based digital agency integrate Spotlight’s content engine, Superfeed.
The agreement will see the Superfeed engine power Checkd Media’s social media and betting hub app, allowing its customers to benefit from live tipping, content-based on-field events and historical data.
Content provided would also include live betting insights across 35 in-play markets, covering 90 football leagues and more than 80 languages.
The information in the engine is provided by the group's data scientists; meanwhile, journalists produce editorial content on relevant markets to engage customers.
Spotlight launched Superfeed in April 2021. It can be delivered through an API or a widget and can be integrated on any site in a few weeks.
Spotlight Sports Group Head of Digital, Will Fyler, said: “Our Superfeed in-play product is proven to exceed all operator and media expectations. We deliver expert insight into what’s happening live on the pitch to support customer betting decisions.
“The technology packed into this product is game-changing and we’re delighted Checkd Media and their customers are going to benefit from this. Adding our Superfeed content will make more events matter across their platform by supporting customers in games and leagues across Europe."
Checkd Media’s Product Director, Adam Patton, added: “We’re delighted to be integrating Superfeed in-play content across our channels.
“Our long-term goal is to offer unique sports betting experience by delivering personalised in-play content and we know Superfeed in-play opens that possibility to us."
