The money will go towards covering training costs for the year, as several of the charity’s staff members will benefit from further development.
In addition, other employees will be allowed to take specialised advanced education.
The Cancer Relief charity has been expanding “steadily” to support the community in Gibraltar.
Julian Jarvis, Pragmatic Play CEO, said: “The pandemic has obviously put health issues into sharper focus.
"It is important not to forget all the other concerns that can significantly affect people’s lives.
“We appreciate the fantastic work Cancer Relief carries out in our community, here in Gibraltar, to support patients and their families in times of great need.”
This latest donation builds on Pragmatic Play’s recent activity, when it donated “considerable amounts” to the Homeless Animal Hospital and The Metropolis Philanthropic Foundation in Romania.
Meanwhile, it also assisted the redevelopment of sports facilities at the Prior Park School in Gibraltar.
Within gaming, meanwhile, Pragmatic Play recently reached an agreement with BetVictor in a deal that will see its bingo games go live with the UK operator.
The deal builds on the partnership that was secured last year, when Pragmatic Play agreed to supply its casino games.
