A Beter chance at a strong team, with Gal Ehrlich

Gal Ehrlich will take on the position of new Chief Executive Officer at sports and esports provider, Beter, succeeding Alex Barker. With over two decades of operations and technology experience, he’s expected to take the company by storm…

NewCEO

Barker has led the team since its inception in 2018. “We built everything from scratch,” he explains. “We did it very well. I am proud of all our achievements and look forward to even greater opportunities

“I strongly believe that Gal will strengthen Beter. I decided to focus on global challenges as a Board Member and leave the CEO post a few months ago. I am happy that together with JKR Investment Group we managed to find such an experienced manager as Gal in such a short period.”

Before joining Beter, Ehrlich worked as a Chief Technology and Product Officer at Fortuna Entertainment Group (FEG) alongside VP of Shared Services at Playtech. His motivation to join the team stemmed from being one of Beter's clients. Over the last 12 years, he has proven to be an asset in the continual development of betting and gaming companies.

"I am excited to become a part of Beter company," commented Ehrlich. "They've come a long way in the last few years. It is a privilege for me to be able to take Beter to its next step, to support its growth by providing our customers with extraordinary value, and to get an opportunity to fulfill the great potential of the team.”

Alexander Gusev, CEO of JKR Investment Group, one of Beter's portfolio companies, also seems impressed by the new appointment of its CEO, stating that Ehrlich "will give a new great impulse” to the role with his “strong expertise in B2B and B2C sectors in gambling;” and will “strengthen Beter's leadership position in the market."
