Mark Murray, the Co-founder of WhysUp, completed the charity’s residential treatment programme for gambling addiction back in 2013, and together with his business partner (and fellow addict in recovery), Liam McBride, is now working with Gordon Moody to develop a package, using their own recovery experiences to offer help and support to the rehab residents.
Gordon Moody offers treatment to the most severely affected by gambling harm, through Residential centres and Retreat and Counselling programmes.

As part of the collaboration between the charity and WhysUp, three sessions are set to be delivered; covering Mark’s own story and recovery journey, understanding and raising awareness regarding addiction and the promotion of health and wellbeing.
The collaboration programme was developed in August and is being rolled out to Gordon Moody treatment centres starting October 2021.
