Wynn Resorts’ online sports betting and casino app, WynnBET, has named Ian Williams as President of Wynn Interactive.

His new role will include overseeing Wynn Interactive’s global day-to-day operations.

With over 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Williams joined WynBET in October as COO; before, he had served as President of Online Gaming for Churchill Downs and contributed to its development into a profitable online wagering business.

He played an important role in growing Churchill Downs’ horseracing advance deposit wagering business. Additionally, he was responsible for spearheading the initial development of Churchill Downs' real money sports and iGaming businesses.

After his graduation from Leeds Metropolitan University, Williams accrued experience for 17 years as a C-level executive in the US, Canada and the UK. He is the Founder of Thistle Gaming, a company that distributes real-time sports data feeds and virtual racing to bookmakers across Europe and Asia.

Wynn Interactive is Wynn Resorts’ online gaming division and it offers a collection of casino and sports betting mobile options.

Wynn Interactive’s products operate under the WynBET, WynnSLOTS and BetBull brands, and are tailored to deliver the “service and guest experience Wynn Resorts is known for."

WynBET is a mobile sports and casino betting app that is currently available in Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Tennessee and Virginia, with several pending licence applications in process. It is an Approved Sportsbook Operator of the NFL, an Authorised Gaming Operator of NASCAR, MLB and NBA and a marketing partner of numerous NFL, NBA and MLB teams.
