Highlight Games launches SPFL game

Highlight Games has purchased the rights  to use archive footage from the Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL).

Thanks to the multi-year agreement, the London-based video virtual sports specialist is set to release a suite of games that will feature Scottish football, as well as a new integration of its Soccerbet game along with a range of instant win games.

The games, which will be available in UK retail locations and online (both in the UK and in regulated international territories), will feature teams and players from the last 25 years; including the “Old Firm” Derby – Celtic, Rangers, plus other SPFL Clubs such as Aberdeen, Motherwell, Hearts, St. Johnstone, Livingston, St. Mirren, Hibernian, Dundee United, Dundee, Ross County and more.

Nick Gardiner, Co-CEO of Highlight Games, said: “I’m delighted to announce Highlight Games’ acquisition of rights to the SPFL, which will further extend its portfolio of games and content.

"Our award-winning Soccerbet product has proven to be highly successful in the territories in which it is now live – in Italy, the Soccerbet Serie A game now accounts for over 50% of all virtual sports bets placed with operators with which it is live – and we have ambitions to replicate this success in the UK with this new SPFL game.”

Highlight Games is a virtual sports and games supplier that specialises in the creation of sports-focused betting experiences.

Its products, which feature top teams and players from the world’s favourite sports, can be tailored to suit sportsbook or virtual sports offerings of operators across retail, online and mobile platforms.

Highlight’s products are currently live in Italy, Turkey, UK, USA, Colombia, Philippines and Greece.
