GAN acquires Silverback Gaming and exclusive content distribution rights
GAN has completed the acquisition of online casino gaming developer Silverback Gaming.
While the terms of the agreement are undisclosed, GAN will now have access to the exclusive global rights of all current and future Silverback online games. It is expected this portfolio of gaming content will include a further 50 new slot games across the next three years.

Indeed, GAN’s SuperRGS offering launched in November in the States, providing an exclusive portfolio of online slot gaming experiences for its customers. Following the Silverback acquisition, the newly acquired collection of slot games will launch within SuperRGS during the first half of 2022.
The acquisition is part of GAN’s content acquisition strategy built with the aim of increasing the company’s overall take rate on B2B gross operator revenue derived from iGaming. Its goal is also to grow its share of iGaming revenue from B2C operators in the States.
Up until the acquisition, Silverback distributed its content portfolio to over 100 B2C operators across Europe, with the Bulgaria and UK-based firm focusing its strategy on digital-first innovation.
