Prior to this appointment, Huble served as NCPG’s first Communications Manager from 2017 to 2019. His new role involves leading communications strategy, including public awareness and education, media relations, and brand partnerships.
Huble has over ten years of experience in communications strategy and planning. He recently served as Executive Director at the Sonoran Arts League, a member-based organisation dedicated to the preservation and advancement of the arts.
At the Sonoran Arts League, she developed and managed community relations and educational outreach programs to bring awareness to the creative sector.
Keith Whyte, NCPG Executive Director, said: “We are excited to have Cait Huble back at NCPG leading our communications efforts. The organisation is currently experiencing a period of unprecedented growth and achievement, and Cait is the ideal choice to connect with external audiences and enhance awareness around responsible gambling and problem gambling.”
Huble added: “I am grateful for the opportunity to continue advancing NCPG’s mission during this unique time as sports betting and gambling, in general, continue to expand rapidly across the country. I look forward to helping achieve NCPG’s ambitious goals in advocacy, awareness and assistance on problem gambling.”
The NCPG is a not-for-profit organisation based in Washington that focuses on minimising the economic and social costs associated with gambling addiction by working with all stakeholders.
The organisation is neutral on legalised gambling; however, if gambling becomes an issue, NCPG urges people who face such a problem to contact its helpline to offer “hope and help without judgement or shame."
Whyte spoke to Gambling Insider as part of the GI Huddle's Problem Gambling series earlier this year.
